I am A Joyful Spirit because I love and am loved! I know who I am, why I'm here and where I'm going.
Among all that I love are my Heavenly Father, my family, friends, church, home, job, books, good music, chocolate, noodles, and my family history research.
I know I'm loved by my family and friends and that makes me joyful. I've been blessed since the moment of my birth that followed by 20 minutes the birth of my twin brother Dennis. I grew up in the heart of a loving Christian family and in the "Heartland" of the US....Kansas.
After college I taught elementary school, until I traded that in for a full life as a homemaker, wife, and mother to my precious son. After my son was married and I became a grandmother, my husband opened the door to my genealogy experience, which has since become my passion. Even though I've been employed full time as an office administrator for the past 25 years, I spend time daily with my ancestors. 'We live as long as we're remembered'. And my ancestors are still very much alive...in my mind and in my heart.
